Calafate Parque Hotel

While not quite a boutique hotel, the Parque Hotel is a nice, small hotel with a mountain chalet look. It is wonderfully located close to the main (and maybe only...) commercial street of El Calafate and to the Laguna Nimez. While the structure might benefit from a little touch-up of the rooms, it is very clean and welcoming, with a great breakfast offer. The mountain-resort atmosphere is further enhanced by the nice, attentive and friendly staff.

The hotel is very close to the Main Street and conveniently located. The room was fairly comfortable, though the bed was on the firmer side. The breakfast here was great! They had tons of fresh options and kept everything filled. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was really tasty. The staff were helpful and friendly. They have a cute little attic gym and a hot tub, but you can only use it by appointment so we didn’t. I did get a massage there booked last minute that was really nice and surprisingly affordable.

Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, they can provide you with substitutes for lactose intolerance, just ask. They also provide lunch boxes for the tours (adicional cost) but they are good and good price as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Calafate Parque Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable - the pillows were amazing, had such a great sleep the nights we stayed. The breakfast was very good, a great variety to choose from. The spa facilities were also great - especially the sauna after being out exploring all day!

The propty was in an excellent location half a block from Main Street. It had a secured private parking. The rooms were a decent size, water pressure and hot water was good. Beds were very comfortable and morning breakfast was excellent. The staff were also very good and assisted us several times during our stay.
